Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland
The Critics' Awards for Theatre in Scotland (CATS) () were inaugurated in May 2003, and are adjudicated by a panel of all the regular Scottish theatre critics.
The 2009 ceremony took place at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre () on June 14. Vanishing Point (Theatre Company) won three awards for Interiors, including Best Production.
The 2008 ceremony took place at Glasgow's Oran Mor () on June 15 during the West End Festival. Dundee Rep won four of the ten awards for Peer Gynt including Best Production.
In 2007 the National Theatre of Scotland production of ''Black Watch'', written by Gregory Burke, about the history of the famous Scottish regiment and its notorious deployment at Camp Dogwood in Iraq, won four of the ten awards, including Best Production.
The awards for 2006-2007 were presented at Pitlochry Festival Theatre () on June 10.
